wow, it's been forever! i really need to update this thing:
okay! on to business!

Gundam Gundam Gundam Gundam. my life has been consumed by Gundam 00. after watching it this summer, i'm drawing stuff from it like crazy, flailing excitedly about it to everyone i know, laughing at my little sister's new Tieria haircut, painting my toes gundam themed (my left foot is celestial being, right foot is innovators) and it's GREAT! i think i'm naturally attracted to mecha or something, 'cause i just adore giant robot anime. especially Gundam 00. which is amazing. and hilarious. and perfect. ahhhhhh~ there's so much to talk about with gundam! there's Lockon and Ally (and the deviant-artist who made/ruined my perception of them forever) and there's Tieria and Setsuna GUNDAM and there's beautiful transforming robots that weigh 54.8/55.4 tons and red dresses and heels on men and alternate personalities/twins and EVERYTHING RUNS ON SPARKLES. so YEAH! GUNDAM 00. IS. EPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!

summer! summer is over! and school started about a month ago when i should have made this journal! but this summer was super awesome! i spent it with my dad and my big sister , and we had a ton of fun! my sister dear had chemistry class, so i would go just for fun and moral support! and then when we got home, we would watch Gundam 00, eat ice cream, and drink bottles of sparkling grape juice into the wee hours of the morning. and since it's on youtube, we could stop now and then to laugh so hard everything hurt or have a moment of resounding "awwwWWWWwwwWWWW~!" or anything like that and not miss the cool giant robot action! oh, and my sister also got me two beautiful shirts from giving blood! they're red and have a red cross in a circle that says "american red cross" and it says "i give blood! will you?" around the circle! i wore them for the entire summer every day. i'm not exaggerating. xD

on a morning stroll around the internets, my big sister stumbled upon a website known as TvTropes. it's hilarious! xD it's a collection of a whole bunch of media stuff (ex. Gundam 00, Shakespeare's twelfth night) and things that appear in them (ex. backup twin, berserk buttons)! if you decide to go looking for it, beware; you'll get caught for HOURS.

and now to the main event! over this wonderful summer, i have amassed a new vocabulary of amazing words! and now, to prepare you for the dialogues that are to come:

The Illustrious Glossary of Amazing

ballerina- tieria in his sexy nurse outfit. the beginning of a lot of hilarity. ex. "what did you draw on my whiteboard? ...a ballerina."

booze- sparkling grape juice, more often than not fake cold duck. sometimes accompanied by ice cream. ex. "mommy, i'm depressed! get the booze!"

daddy- Lockon Stratos(Neil), . ex. "daddy, can you snipe my math teacher for me?"

dumplings- handmade chicken-cabbage dumplings. a food group of their own. ex. "we made 60 dumplings tonight, and they lasted about a day and a half."

godmommy- Tieria Eirde, my twin sister. ex. "godmommy has the prettiest hair of all of us."

H- shortening of Hallelujah Haptism. ex. "it's pretty funny to watch ally and H fight over something."

Ikey, Wifey, and Pitty- my twin sister, , and me! our respective fighters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Ikey is the husband (Ike), Wifey is, obviously, his wife Marth, and Pitty is Pit, their dog. ex. "wifey, what do you want on your bread muffin? butter."

Lockoff- Lyle Dylandy. also the nickname of a certain blueberry pie. ex. "Lockoff, stop hitting on godmommy!"

mommy- Allelujah Haptism, myself! ex. "daddy is quite fond of mommy's drawing of Hareria."

The Otaku words
Otaku bombing- an extreme form of sniping done by someone you will never see again. bombers feel triumphant, while the bombed feel stunned and amazed, occasionally to the point of needing to sit down. ex. "after i told the cashier that my name was Lulu, she put it down on my receipt as 'Suzu,' and i was sure i had been otaku bombed."

Otaku fishing- in public, dangling some otaku bait into a crowd of people in hopes of catching someone. can be anything from dropping a character's name to outright cosplay. the opposite of sniping. ex. "we went otaku fishing yesterday when we casually dressed like three gundam meisters."

Otaku parfait- when a number of references to one or several japanese subjects pile up on top of each other. often themed. ex. "i misread 'Danzig' as 'Dylandy,' then texted my Lockon about it, and my phone auto-completed 'Dylandy' as 'DylAnew,' putting the granola on my otaku parfait."

Otaku sniping- recognizing and pinpointing an otaku fisher. happens suddenly and excitedly, and is often deadly, granting it its name. the opposite of fishing. ex. "as a boy in the booth behind us at Panera causally said something about the '18 meter gundam,' all of us otaku sniped with deadly accuracy and began eavesdropping intently."

salt cookies- an infamous baking fiasco involving two tablespoons of salt. goes down in the records next to "pancake cookies" and "bread cookies." after this, godmommy didn't let us bake again. ex. "no, don't eat those! those are the salt cookies!"

uncle- Hallelujah Haptism, and when the occasion calls for it, me! ex. "mommy, my friends are being idiots. can you send uncle over to kill off a few?"
